The foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley made a commitment to care and be concerned for the poor and vulnerable. Puamiria Maaka is the manager of Te Waipuna Puawai Mercy Oasis and gives examples of the work and the challenges the organisation is facing today.
