Sentence Stress in English

Do you notice that English sentences are full of ups and downs? Kiwis make certain words much stronger than the other words in a sentence. It sounds nice but why do they do this? This is called Sentence Stress. Learn how to make your sentences sound the way Kiwis speak by emphasising Content Words and de-emphasising the Structure Words. This lesson teaches you about Sentence Stress and how to make your sentences convey the main message in each sentence.
