Number Words

Numbers are important because they allow us to talk about how much or how many, especially when we talk about money. But in many parts of Asia they use words such as Lakhs and Crores to talk about big numbers. These words make no sense to the Kiwi or your Kiwi Bank manager no matter how many Crores you may have. Migrants need to learn to use the correct English Number Words and also where to put the commas when writing numbers. In this lesson you will learn all the basics about the words you can use in English to talk about the numbers from zero to billion.
